Is there a fee to work with Bella Vita Travels?
Every Bella Vita Travels vacation is 100% customized. It takes a good deal of time and research to design just the right itinerary for you. And just like any professional service such as lawyers, accountants, architects, etc., we are compensated for our work. We ask for a minor commitment on your part. In exchange, you receive a dedicated team who will work very hard for you. The fee also includes unlimited revisions until you are completely satisfied.
Our planning fees start at $800 and are based on the number of travelers, number of travel days, and overall intricacy of your trip. Additional fees may apply to significant changes made to your proposed itinerary during the trip planning process.
As no two trips are alike, we are unable to provide exact costs. Do note that the cost of luxury travel has increased exponentially over the last two years. For a tailor-made itinerary in top destinations, including stays at our preferred hotels or villas, private touring, and transportation plus our expertise, research, execution, and support before and during your travels, our clients should expect to spend a minimum of $1,500 per traveler per day depending on your destination, time of year and number of services, based on 2 person vacation.
Note that when traveling in a small group of friends or family, the price of ground services (transportation, tours, activities, etc.) may go down some per person, but the hotels rates do not change. Families sharing a larger room or suite may result in a lower per day price, but keep in mind the caliber of hotels we work with when considering a trip with us.
Can you tell me the cost of a custom Mediterranean vacation with Bella Vita Travels?
What will be included in my Tailor-made Vacation Package?
Normally, we arrange for all your accommodations, transportation, local guides, and any other fun activities and experiences. Your trip can be planned to the minute or can be more “open” with fewer planned activities. The choice is yours based on your travel wishes. Additionally, you receive unlimited communication and assistance from Bella Vita Travels and our in-country partners before and during your travels.
What kind of travel documents will I receive from BVT?
During the trip planning process, an Info Kit to the countries you are traveling to as well as our destination kits of the various places you are visiting.
About 2 weeks before your trip, an e-itinerary will be sent to you via email including all your booking confirmations, contact numbers, and pre-departure information. This itinerary will be available in a printable PDF document, as well as a downloadable app accessible before and during your trip without Wi-Fi.
Is it possible to book my own accommodations or other parts of my trip?
In order to make your trip as seamless as possible, we need to handle every aspect of your trip. By giving us control over these elements, we can provide the best possible service. It also allows us to quickly fix anything should it need to be.
We only need our accommodations taken care of, can you do that?
Yes, we can! We are a hotel specialist with preferred partnerships and close relationships to properties globally. Many of our clients are solely in need of an accommodation and work with us to receive best published rates, or better, as well as hundreds of dollars in VIP amenities like upgrades and complimentary breakfasts, F&B credits, and more - all compliments of Bella Vita Travels.
Note that we are unable to work with Airbnb and VRBO as they do not allow for proper screening of their properties. We take it seriously that you have entrusted your trip to us and we want to ensure the quality of your accommodations.
Does Bella Vita Travels recommend travel insurance?
Absolutely - No one anticipates things will go wrong on a long awaited vacation, however, there are many circumstances which may force you to cancel your trip, return home early, or seek medical treatment. At Bella Vita Travels, we care that your investment is protected and will guide you to reputable travel insurance providers so you are ready for the unexpected.
Can Bella Vita Travels assist with our flights?
Bella Vita Travels can book international business and first-class plane tickets for our full-service clients (fee applies). By booking with our Air Desk, you never have to be placed on-hold for hours with the airline if your flight is cancelled or delayed. Our team monitors your booking, providing a smoother travel experience.
Does Bella Vita Travels provide cost breakdowns?
We are unable to give price breakdowns for our Tailor-made Vacation packages as we receive contracted and confidential, bundled rates from our suppliers which is standard practice in our business. We charge competitive market rates. This combined with top-notch expertise and service, and an unforgettable travel experience is priceless. This is what keeps our clients coming back year after year to work with us.
Will BVT assist me with my dining reservations?
In order to ensure a seamless and relaxing travel experience, we can connect you directly with the hotel’s concierge to book dining reservations as well as spa and wellness appointments. This is complementary and everything is scheduled directly through the hotel. Should you wish for Bella Vita Travels’ personal assistance with these details, we offer concierge services at an additional charge.
