Unforgettable Travel, Created just  for you

A Southern California native, Megan grew up in Laguna Beach and attended the UCLA. She spent 15 years in the event marketing & promotion business working for MTV, Elektra Records and Sony Pictures. Megan moved to Italy in 2004 to learn the language and work in a local B&B. After learning everything she did not want to do (!), she started a small Italian concierge service that over the course of the next few years snowballed into what is now Bella Vita Travels. Megan oversees sales and marketing and the “big picture” of business development/strategy for the company.

Off-duty activities include finding a sublime cappuccino (and a view to go with it!), swimming in the Med, yoga, and being a “basketball” mom to her and Luigi’s son, Pietro.

Favorite off-duty activities include working out, playing the guitar with his son, Pietro, being a “guinea pig” to Megan’s cooking whims.

Your dream destination?

Texan by birth and Italian by adoption, Kate Little began her career in the travel industry over 20 years ago as a certified Italian tour guide and licensed sommelier. Soon after, she joined forces with Bella Vita Travels, where she has since been crafting unforgettable and unique luxury itineraries for curious and passionate travelers.

Kate's itchy feet led her to London in 1987 where she started university before getting distracted by all that Europe had to offer. An Italian train strike during a month-long Interail trip serendipitously marooned her in the Cinque Terre in 1989, and she has called Italy home ever since. Eventually, she obtained an undergraduate degree in Italian language and culture from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a master’s degree in Italian Enogastronomic Culture and Traditions from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

When not sitting behind a computer (or traveling for work or pleasure), she can be found walking through the woods with her rescue dog, Charley, or snorkeling in the waters of Liguria, Italy. If at home, she'll be cooking up a storm in the kitchen or reading a book in her 1700s Ligurian farmhouse.
Kate's travel philosophy is to say 'yes' to what you stumble across while visiting a destination: a ceilidh is Scotland? an unexpected art exhibition in Barcelona? dancing with monks in Fes? swimming in the Mediterranean in December? eating that local specialty that you're not quite sure of? Kate will always say yes (and encourage you to do so, too).

Christine’s love for travel began in childhood. With Calabrian roots, she developed a deep connection to her grandparents homeland in Italy during her first visit. Today, she calls Monterosso al Mare in the Cinque Terre home. Christine holds an MA in Food Studies and Culture from New York University, specializing in Italian gastronomy. She has spent the past working for over 25 years in high end restaurants and bars throughout New York City and the surrounding area.

Growing up in an Italian American family was the beginning of her obsession with gastronomy, which still guides her travel today. She’s one of those people who plans a trip around a restaurant reservation, or who makes a debatably too long detour just to taste a local specialty. Once she moved full time to Italy 15 years ago, she continued with her masters certificate in sustainable tourism from the Alta Scuola di Turismo Ambientale and is now on her second level of Italian sommelier certification.  As our marketing expert, she manages social media, blogs, newsletters, and research. She also works as a luxury travel planner and is an expert on kid friendly travel as her sidekick is most often her 6-year old girl, Lilia (who, fortunately, eats everything).

A true explorer at heart, her love for travel, storytelling, and discovery has shaped her perspective on the world.
