About Airelles

Airelles, owned by media mogul Stéphane Courbit, is a Paris-based hotel company. It prioritizes every detail to exceed the expectations of its guests, young and old. Guests are greeted with a cheerful “welcome home” at the front door.

This is a corporation that not only cherishes its visitors, but also treats them as if they were royalty. Indeed, the warmth, friendliness, and generosity shown to visitors makes them feel as if they are staying in a private family home rather than a business establishment.

From Versailles to St. Tropez

As we mentioned, the eight properties are all spectacular. Here are highlights of just a few…

Le Grand Contrôle, the Hotel at the Château de Versailles

Le Grand Contrôle is a hotel distinguished by its prime position on the grounds of the Château de Versailles. Built in 1681 by Jules Hardouin-Mansart, the mastermind behind Versailles’ stunning Hall of Mirrors, the Grand Trianon, and the Palace’s Royal Chapel. This majestic structure is a tribute to the grandeur and elegance of its 18th-century heyday.

Finally, in 2021, Airelles proudly opened the doors to Le Grand Contrôle, the only hotel on the grounds of the Château de Versailles.

Le Grand Contrôle is more than just a hotel. Truly, it’s an engaging and captivating experience. Even more, visitors are welcome to explore the Palace when the doors are closed to the public.

Concluding, the fine-dining restaurant, led by Chef Alain Ducasse, reimagines 17th-century gastronomic traditions in memorable feasts and banquets.

Le Bastide de Gordes

La Bastide fully expressed the history, grandeur, and beauty of Provence. Here, this 16th-century maison is set atop the medieval hilltop hamlet of Gordes. The Palace’s terraces and verdant gardens provide a magnificent view of lavender fields and olive groves. All flanked by cypress trees and ancient stone walls.
Airelles is, as always vigilant in luxury. Hence, each of La Bastide’s 34 rooms and six suites represents the ancient tradition of this magnificent maison. They are filled with antique furnishings lovingly collected from around France.
