Acropolis tour for children

Our Acropolis Day is a can’t miss for a family in Athens.

Start the day with our Private Family Guided Acropolis Tour. With your active and energetic guide, your whole family will enter into the glory of one of the oldest civilizations. Take a step back in time while listening to all the stories and myths of the past. Furthermore, via an interactive tablet, your children will learn about the history of ancient Athens. They will be able to understand where they are and what was here in the past.

After, our museum Family Guided Tour is a great way to keep children and adults interested. While we understand not all kids go crazy for museums, our guide will tell stories to keep your kids attentive, filling in historical facts of the ruins to help inform you along the way. And since you will have seen the Acropolis that morning, you can retrace historical footsteps and lose yourself in the ancient Greek civilization. One of the highlights will be the amazingly detailed Lego Acropolis. Located in the kids’ area on the first floor of the museum contains more than 120,000 Lego bricks. We guarantee an excellent adventure for the entire family!

Family discovery of the districts of Athens

Discover Athens’ city center and feel its pulse from a local’s perspective on our Family Athens Walk. You will experience a unique combination of culture, history, city life, and Greek food tastes and aromas. Start in Syntagma Square and view the official changing of the guards in front of the Unknown Soldier’s Monument. Next, head to the Plaka, one of the most colorful neighborhoods. Next, head to Dionysiou Aeropagitou street, Athen’s “grand promenade” which is filled with fascinating stories from Greek mythology. Children love this stop. Then it’s on to the Roman Market, an archaeological site of great historic importance. From there, find yourselves at Monastiraki Square and its famous flea market. Last but not least, arrive in the Psiri neighborhood, one of Athen’s most happening and fun neighborhoods. Filled with street art, traditional bakeries, and local restaurants, this is your chance to mingle with the locals and for a moment become Greeks yourselves!

Santorini catamaran tour
