It might seem on the surface that the past year brought the travel industry to a total halt. Fortunately, that is far from the case. The slowdown in travel meant that along with our suppliers and partners, we were able to spend time designing and planning unique, special new experiences for our clients in the countries we visit.

Across the Mediterranean, we spent the past year researching and studying new tours. These special experiences are one of a kind, like our clients and their tailor made trips. A Half-day Excursion to Chateau de Fontainebleau & its forest with Hot-Air Balloon Experience!

You will be picked up at your hotel in Paris by your private driver and then be taken just over an hour south to beautiful Fontainbleau. First, you will take to the skies over Fontainebleau for a 1-hour hot air balloon ride. Soar over the Fontainbleau countryside, the former hunting ground of French royalty. Once you have landed and enjoyed a “toast des Aéronautes”.

Then, it’s on to the 15th-century castle where you will have VIP, skip-the-line entrance.  Here, learn its history as a popular place of stay for French kings. Take some time to experience the gardens and part of its massive forest (by foot this time!), which often serves as a weekend getaway for Parisians. This fun adventure can be done first thing in the morning or late afternoon.

Flying over Mont Saint Michel

Your private pilot and helicopter will take you over the lovely will be awaiting Normandy coast and the famous landing beaches before arriving at Mont St Michel. Here, your pilot will circle this amazing landmark so that you enjoy a complete and incredible view of it and its magical bay. Then, your pilot will land and you will meet your private guide who will take you to discover this unique place to which the tide gives a constantly changing view.

Walk the stairs outside the main and crowded path, plunging into the charming streets of this medieval village. Reach the abbey,(known as “the Marvel” throughout Europe when it was built in the early 13th century). You will experience the spiritual atmosphere that the incredible nature and splendid architecture give to the site. After your visit, return to your private helicopter and once again, fly over the Normandy land and seascapes.

Half-day Vintage Car and Wine Tour of the Saint Tropez Gulf

Discover the wine estates of the Gulf of St Tropez aboard THE car made mythical by famous French actor Louis de Funès in his many movies. Like de Funès. you will travel the roads of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez aboard your vintage car with your expert wine specialist of the region. Take the time to look around, an unforgettable experience discovering the vineyards of the Gulf of St Tropez with your open roof! During your tour, you will drive by the Gendarmerie de Saint-Tropez and the glamorous port.

Then, head in the direction of  Château de Pampelonne in Ramatuelle. Here, enjoy a short walk in the vineyards to give you some information about the region and its historical and cultural background. Thank you it’s time for tasting 3 different wines. Next, it’s on to visit the charming village of Gassin before arriving at Domaine de la Madrague near the Gigaro beach in La Croix Valmer.  Here you will have a quick lesson on the organic methods of winemaking and visit of the estate. Savor another tasting of 3 local wines before heading back to your hotel.

La Citè du Vin Experience

Bordeaux has long been one of the world’s top wine destinations. When Cité du Vin opened in 2016, it finally got a museum to match its reputation! Located in a spectacular modernist building that resembles a wine decanter, the City consists of exhibition spaces, cultural events, a wine bar, a cinema space, and more. Here, with a private wine expert, you will embark on an immersive, sensory adventure to discover the area’s wine culture and more. Enjoy a unique experience exploring the many and varied facets of wine across time and space. Your tour will conclude on the eighth floor of Belvedere. Here, you will soak in 360-degree views of the city along with a glass or two of the wine of course!

Private Cruise along the Loire River

The Loire Valley is known for its spectacular castles, vintage wines, and charming villages. How about we combine all of these into one way with a twist?! Your journey takes place on an authentic “Tour” or flat-bottomed boat, still used today by local fishermen. Today, the skipper just happens to be a great winemaker from the area!  The first stop will be Samur, to discover the charming little streets and the beautiful houses of the city center.

Then, visit a Sparkling wine house with an impressive underground cave for your wine tasting. And what about the castles?! Some of the incredible landmarks you might pass are Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, Châteaux of Chinon, Villandry, and the Ussé Château. You will also delicious lunch made with local delicacies onboard or on a sandy beach. What a truly relaxing and wonderful experience!
