Dubrovnik, Croatia: the perfect short trip
Dubrovnik is a city that travelers cannot miss in Croatia. Nicknamed the Pearl of the Adriatic, its a feast for your eyes. It’s a historic jewel with an incredible old town. Dubrovnik has spectacular city walls that are filled with interesting sites as well as great restaurants and shops. It’s also small enough that you can explore easily on foot. However, it’s big enough that you will always be able to explore something new. It’s the perfect choice for a long weekend or short trip. You cannot miss it as part of a longer tailor made itinerary!

Day 1: Welcome to Dubrovnik
Upon arrival at Dubrovnik airport, you will have a private transfer waiting to bring you to your hotel. The city that has joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1979 will amaze you with its beauty and history. Although recently known as one of the locations where the globally popular Game of Thrones series was filmed, this former republic, amazed everyone who came to visit.
Take a stroll through the Stradun, the city walls, and the narrow streets that hide many interesting things, both historical and life-like. The rest of the day is for your to explore on your own!
Day 2: Explore Croatia through its food
Take a break from the city crowd and explore Konavle, the most southern part of Croatia. Enjoy the breathtaking nature and try food and drinks that you cannot find in the stores. After you leave Dubrovnik, your first stop will be Cavtat. After, enjoy a panoramic drive through Konavle, which will take you to Konavoski Dvori, the most famous part of Konavle. Ljuta River and the beautiful trees around it are something worth capturing.
After your walk, you will enjoy a traditional, educational and entertaining cooking lesson! Making your own food with a help of the locals is a truly unforgettable experience. They will teach you incredibly delicious local dishes and prove you why Konavle is unforgettable experience. After the class, you will enjoy the “fruits of your labor” with an amazing meal created by you!
Day 3: A day on the boat!
This is an amazing full-day luxury experience! Your private driver will accompany you to the harbor where your private Jeanneau Leader 850 speed-boat and captain will be awaiting your arrival. Sailing around Dubrovnik old town will give you amazing, different and breathtaking perspective of this fascinating city.
You’ll then continue towards Lokrum, an island full of legends, attractive and spots for filmmakers and views on this nature reserve. You will also visit the lovely bays of Koloep and Lopud, where you can take a nice swim in anj beach and have lunch in local restaurant (lunch not included). Your day will end with a visit to the island of ipan before returning to Dubrovnik around 6PM.
Day 4: See you next time, Dubrovnik!
It’s time to bid farewell to Croatia! We will arrange for a private transfer to the airport for your flight home…imati dobar put (safe travels)!
